Day 315- July 2, 2010

Sasha is feeling somewhat sore of throat and has entrusted this blog post into my care. Maybe if he wanted me to write his blog he shouldn’t have used such a ridiculous photo of me as his photo of the day.

Anyway. Enough  of that.  Yesterday (Or rather the day that belongs to this blog post which should be today except that we forgot about the blog post and now I’m writing about yesterday as if is was today and it’s all gotten very confusing. Are you confused? Because you should be.) we decided that a roadtrip was in order. Partially because roadtrips are awesome and partially to escape from the hordes of children that live in my house. We had intended to drive up to The Entrance or maybe a bit further and have some lunch somewhere with a nice water view, but we went a bit far and ended up in Wyee. Wyee being a somewhat desolate looking place up towards Newcastle that is apparently not connected to a sewage system (Thank you wikipedia for that classy and useless fact).

After lunch and some surprisingly good banana smoothies at the Wyee Eatery we headed back to civilization via Spotlight. My mother is going through a beanie knitting phase and we were on a wool finding mission. Today’s photo is of me pulling yet another stupid face in Spotlight with wool, even if you can’t see it. And I was about to go off and make fun of a kid with an ipad, but I didn’t know that yet at the time. So all in all, a good day.

  1. Wow, you two have a similar writing style (syntactially at least – although you’re less bombastic). *duck*
